I was startled by the words of Jarom "What could I write more than my fathers have written?  For have not they revealed the plan of salvation? (Jarom 1:2)"  I had just read the words of his fathers- recorded by Nephi, Jacob, and Enos but I couldn't remember a single chapter on the Plan of Salvation!   I challenged myself to find the Plan of Salvation in the Book of Mormon and over the next year I recorded every reference to the Plan of Salvation that I could find in the Book of Mormon.

They were literally sprinkled throughout the Book of Mormon, and as I collected them in one place I developed a greater clarity and understanding of God's Great Plan of Happiness than I had ever had.

I developed this Seminary Scripture Journal Printable to help seminary students have a place to record what they learn about the Plan of Salvation as they read through the Book of Mormon.

The three-page printable has a title heading for many of the major milestones in the Plan of Salvation: Pre-Mortal Life, Satan's role, Creation, the Fall, the Atonement, Our Life Today, After we Die, Resurrection, the Millennium, Final Judgement and Eternal Life.  Each heading also has a little doodle that goes along with it to add some interest and maybe a little insight to the Plan of Salvation. 

After the headings and doodles have been glued in you need to take a ruler and draw a line down the page to separate the references from "What I Learned".  

Each heading can be given one or two pages.  You won't have any trouble filling two pages with scripture references, parts of the Family Proclamation, and relevant quotes from Latter-day Prophets.

Book of Mormon Sticky Notes- Free Printable

The Book of Mormon is such a powerful tool in our journey to return to live with our Father in Heaven.  The Book of Mormon has been given to us to be a:

LIAHONA, 

SWORD, 

SEED, 

IRON ROD, 

and a GIFT.  

Prophets and Apostles have testified boldly of the divinity of the Book of Mormon.  

These printable sticky notes are intended to help teach children and Seminary youth about the power of this most amazing book.  They can be used in scriptures or as journal prompts.  

First, print the Template Page.  It is best if you can do this on a sheet of cardstock, but not necessary.  

Second, place the sticky notes carefully lined up in the squares of the template page so that the sticky border will go into the printer first.  

Third, send the sticky notes through your printer as you print the "Quotes Document".  

If you don't have the time to print these on sticky notes you can print them on a regular sheet of paper and just use glue to stick them to a journal page or tuck them between the pages of your scriptures.

If you like the idea, but want to use it for your own quotes or ideas Google Doc has a template you can use to space and print your own quotes on sticky notes.  Easy peasy.

The Book of Mormon is our Liahona

These could be made in conjunction with a lesson on the liahona and serve as a reminder of the direction that we can find when we diligently study the scriptures.  

Directions to make:

These print 5 to a page.  I used cardstock and contact paper to make them a little more durable, laminating would be nice too.  I distressed the edges with a black ink pad before adding the contact paper.   The compass charm was hot glued on so that it can be removed at the end of the year and added to a necklace, charm bracelet, keychain, or zipper pull.

The compass charm can be purchased inexpensively on Amazon and Etsy by searching "compass charm bulk".  They are cheaper if you plan ahead and allow a couple weeks for shipping.  I think I paid $10 for 30 with Amazon Prime.  I've seen them as low as 10 cents each with the longer shipping time.
